Raju and his magical socks!
Raju is a little 9-year-old boy who lives near Jamshedpur. He was turning 10 and was excited about his birthday gift. Like last year, his mother bought him a new gift - she gifted him new socks!
He was happy about the new socks. Last year, he got a compass box. His old socks were worn out, and he wanted something comfier. These new ones were comfy!
But here’s the thing - the socks were magical! Krishna, the God of Love and Compassion, had touched those socks while in human form at the store.
The next day, Raju wore the socks to school. He noticed Manoj looking upset.
“Why are you upset?” Raju asked Manoj.
“I forgot my notebook. I did my homework, but now Anjali Ma’am will punish me,” Manoj replied.
Raju remembered he lent his notes to Manoj yesterday.
“Don’t worry, Manoj. I have your notes. You lent them to me yesterday,” Raju reassured him.
Manoj felt relieved, and Raju was happy he could help his friend.
After school, Raju saw Anjali Ma’am looking stressed outside.
“Ma’am, you seem worried. What’s wrong?” Raju asked.
“I forgot my purse, and my phone is dead. I need to catch the bus, but I have no money for tickets,” Anjali Ma’am explained.
Raju remembered he got an extra bus ticket that morning due to a mistake.
“Today’s my lucky day. I have an extra ticket. Come, I’ll give you a ride,” Raju offered.
He helped Anjali Ma’am safely get on the bus, feeling like his socks were indeed magical.
For the next 20 days, Raju helped others in different ways. He was sure his socks were magical.
But clothes wear out. One day, Raju’s mom noticed a hole in his sock and threw them away.
The next day, Raju couldn’t find his socks.
“Where are my birthday socks?” Raju asked his mom.
“I threw them away. They were worn out. I’ll get you a new pair,” his mom replied.

When we thought of this, we didn’t think of “why” we wanted to do this. We just - felt like doing it. Sanyoukta, like all girls, loves “cute” things. Out of a blue moon, the idea came to start a “notebook” instagram profile.
We got down to business - the thought that we had in February, we actualized it till March end. It cost us around Rs. 6000 to stop off with a basic notebook business.
But what is so different about this notebook?
To be honest, there is nothing different currently. Me and Sanyoukta have been discussing about how we intend on “attracting” people. We are very clear about one thing - and that is to ensure that students get some value from it.
While I write this, I realize the love of writing might be deep within. It might not be because I am “avid reader”, it is because I have always loved the way words could bring out emotions in individuals.
This coupled with the fact that I have been trying my hands on writing recently, it seems that it might be the right mix.
There - I think we have decided. The idea behind this notebook is not just a commodity you are purchasing. The value here is - we are asking you to bring it out - to start writing.
The world is now AI. But words have become valuable than before. Once you start to write, you’ll realize that this power to write down what you feel like - it is one of the best feeling in the world.
With our first not-so-professional-looking picture, we intend to start our story.
The story is that of two people, wanting you to start writing. Meanwhile, it would be great if you could start this journey on our notebook ;)

Oceanic trenches are topographic depressions of the seafloor, relatively narrow in width, but very long. These oceanographic features are the deepest parts of the ocean floor. Oceanic trenches are a distinctive morphological feature of convergent plate boundaries, along which lithospheric plates move towards each other at rates that vary from a few millimeters to over ten centimeters per year.
A trench marks the position at which the flexed, subducting slab begins to descend beneath another lithospheric slab. Trenches are generally parallel to a volcanic island arc, and about 200 km (120 mi) from a volcanic arc.
