💲💲💲I was often engioys of my western counterparts, who were financially independent at the age of 13-14. (If not completely independent, at least they had ways they earnt a decebt pocket money). In India, there is a different mindset towards working in retail stores, cafes, etc.
'That's where the unsuccessful land up'; 'What will our relatives think'. 'Why do you want to work there?'
Today there are innumerable opportunities to earn money as a student! Or even serve as a 'side hustle' in your daily routine.
The digital age has made it extremely easy to explore and exploit your talents and skills to earn a buck here and there!

A fast read, it can be a good starting point for someone trying to venture into the world of non-fiction. The author takes us through a few gripping real-life business tales, how they tipped over the edge and became extremely successful!
In these interesting times, the comparison drawn between viral ideas and epidemics is more than relatable.

I came across an interesting article in 'The Actuary' which raised this question - 'Were the people who are dying from Covid-19, going to die this year... anyway?'
The bold statement caught me by surprise. On further reading, I found that this odea was backed by Bayes theorem and other statistics.
