We promote and protect health and well being of the vulnerable communities, through research and dev

Everyone wishes for growth this time of year.

Ours is different.

We wish for fewer preventable deaths.
For decisions guided by evidence.
For communities heard before crises begin.

Because when public health works, no one notices.
And that’s exactly how it should be.

Remember how we promised — “never again”?

Never again underfunded surveillance.

Never again scrambling for PPE.

Never again misinformation outrunning medicine.

Four years later, the world looks different.

But viruses don’t forget. And they don’t wait.

International Day of Epidemic Preparedness is our annual reminder that memory is short, but consequences aren’t.

Preparedness is not about fear.

It’s about foresight.

About strengthening systems before they’re tested.

About acting early, so communities don’t have to suffer later.

Did we learn enough?

Or are we simply hoping for luck?

Some problems are too big for one sector to solve alone.

At a recent national summit on durable carbon removal, we spent time listening, learning, and exchanging ideas with policymakers, scientists, industry leaders, and civil society voices working to shape India’s climate future. Conversations moved beyond ambition—to the hard questions of integrity, monitoring, financing, and what responsible scale really looks like.

What stayed with us most was the shared urgency:

‼️If India is to play a meaningful role in global carbon removal, solutions must be credible, transparent, and rooted in local realities.‼️

Moments like these remind us why collaboration matters—not for headlines, but for outcomes that last.

What an incredible two days of learning, collaboration, and purpose it was!

The Australia Awards Symposium wasn’t just an event — it was a reminder of what can happen when evidence meets empathy, and when professionals across sectors come together with one goal: strengthening equitable healthcare for India’s tribal communities.

From powerful project presentations to thoughtful keynote insights and the inspiring graduation ceremony — every moment echoed the same message:

Evidence Changes Lives Only When It's Put Into Action.

Here’s to the Fellows, the mentors, the partners, and every voice working to close the healthcare gap.

This is how change begins. 💚

🎗️ Breast cancer isn’t just a medical challenge — it’s a public health priority.

With over 670,000 lives lost globally in 2022, early detection and equitable care can change this story.

Through stronger screening systems, awareness, and evidence-based policy, India has the opportunity to save thousands of lives.

Together, let’s make early detection the norm, not the exception.
