🚨 PART 2 — 3 MORE CMS PERSONALITY TEST MYTHS YOU NEED TO STOP BELIEVING

Part 1 was about the myths around the 100 marks, preparation and MBBS viva.

Now let's talk about 3 things that many aspirants underestimate:

❌ “My DAF doesn't matter much.”
❌ “I'm Hindi-medium, so my English will decide my interview.”
❌ “I have to answer every question the panel asks.”

1️⃣ YOUR DAF MATTERS

Don't treat your DAF like a formality.

Your hometown, college, education, work experience, hobbies, achievements and interests can all become starting points for questions — and those questions can lead to follow-ups.

👉 Know your own DAF better than anyone else in the room.

2️⃣ HINDI-MEDIUM ≠ LOW CONFIDENCE

I've personally seen candidates from Hindi-medium backgrounds clear interviews despite not having exceptionally fluent English.

Good English ≠ Good Personality.

You need clarity, reasoning, confidence and honesty.

But don't assume that Hindi is automatically available as the CMS interview language. Follow the specific language instructions issued by UPSC for your interview cycle.

3️⃣ YOU DON'T HAVE TO KNOW EVERYTHING

If you don't know an answer, don't bluff.

A simple:

> “I'm sorry, sir/ma'am. I don't know the exact answer.”

is better than confidently inventing one.

Honesty is not weakness. Bluffing is.

Written exam is over.

And I keep seeing students underestimate the Personality Test because they think:
❌ “It’s just an MBBS viva.”
❌ “Written clear ho gaya, ab extra preparation ki kya zarurat?”

When candidates are already close in written marks, the 100 Personality Test marks can become an important differentiator in the final merit.

🎯 PART 2 | Your Knowledge Didn't Lose CMS... Your Exam Habits Did.

If you watched Part 1, you already know that CMS 2026 wasn't just testing knowledge—it was testing how you think under pressure.

Now comes the most important question:

What should you change before NEET PG?

These are the habits that silently steal marks:

❌ Reading only half the clinical stem
❌ Marking the first familiar option without reading all choices
❌ Ignoring clue words like initial, most appropriate, next best step, or except
❌ Spending 3–4 minutes on one difficult question while easy questions slip away
❌ Changing correct answers because of panic—not logic
