This event was organized under the aegis of Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India as a part of celebration of "The International Year of Millets" in which Ms. Shubhangi Singh introduced millets to students as a healthy alternative to regularly consumed food items and commenting on their significance in modern lifestyle. The audience gained a benefiting insight about the numerous health benefits of millets, the need to go back to traditional sources of food, accessibility and demand of millets in the market, as well as ways and means of introducing the same in our lives.
