JLDAVPS celebrated Independence Day on 13th August 2026 with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on the school premises. The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, followed by the hoisting of the National Flag. Everyone sang the National Anthem with pride and respect.
The students presented a variety of cultural programmes, including patriotic songs, dances, and a short skit highlighting the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The school authorities delivered an inspiring message and reminded the students of their duties as responsible citizens of India.

An Inter-House Solo Patriotic Song Competition was organised at Jhabban Lal DAV public School on 12th August 2026. Students from different houses participated enthusiastically and presented patriotic songs with confidence and expressions of national pride.
The event provided students with an opportunity to showcase their musical talent while promoting patriotism, confidence and healthy competition.
The competition concluded successfully with appreciation for all the participants.
