Last week, during an online class with my 7-year-old student, I introduced a game I call "Number Detective"🕵️‍♀️🔢.

I gave her a “mystery number” and a set of clues:

* It’s greater than 10 but less than 20
* It’s an even number
* If you cut it in half, you get 7

She thought for a moment, her eyes lit up, and she shouted — “It’s 14!” 🎉

When I asked her how she solved it so quickly, she said,
"Easy! I imagined the number as slices of pizza and kept sharing them until I got 7 slices each!" 🍕😄

That day, she didn’t just learn about numbers — she learned that math isn’t about memorizing, it’s about thinking creatively.
