The novel brilliantly captures the beauty and mystery of India while delving into the misunderstandings that arise between the British and Indians.
Forster’s nuanced characters, especially Dr. Aziz and Cyril Fielding, bring depth to the story, while the Marabar Caves symbolize the enigmatic nature of human relationships. Though the British officials are portrayed harshly, this sharpens the critique of imperial arrogance. A beautifully written and thought-provoking work.
