DU fraternity welcomed Olympic gold medalist Neeraj Chopra ji in its grand style at University of Delhi ‘Centenary Run’.

Thousands of students roared against the silence of the inefficient administration towards the basic facilities like Streamlining Academic calendar , U-Special Buses , Hostel Allotment etc of the students at North Campus , University of Delhi today.

DUSU protested vigorously against the problems being faced by the residents of Rajiv Gandhi Hostel for Girls. After vigorous protests by DUSU with RGHG girls, all the demands have been accepted by the hostel administration and all the problems will be resolved at the earliest.

Joint delegation of DUSU and ABVP met DU VC and proposed 'Earn Wile Learn' scheme on the centenary year of DU in which 10,000 students would get paid internships. Further a demand of setting up of 'Incubation Center' for students in Delhi University colleges was also raised.

DUSU strongly protested against the imposition of extra charges on the use of instruments by students in USIC (University Science Instrument Centre) of Delhi University.Further a joint delegation of ABVP & DUSU led by DUSU President Aksh*t Dahiya met the concerned authorities.

DUSU strongly condemns the attack on the academic freedom of students and the intolerant atmosphere created in St. Stephen’s College.

DUSU urges the Principal of St. Stephen’s College, Prof. John Varghese to look into the matter and call for an impartial inquiry and all students be assured of a safe academic space to pursue their learning.
