Chemistree - ECO Club of DTU ChemisTree, the Eco Club of DTU, is a student-led club that strives to create environmental awarenes

As we have come to the end of this year, looking back, we saw how the environment has recurring impacts and takes a toll on our lives if we are not prudent enough. We as a collective, ChemisTree-DTU made constant efforts with our initiatives and prompt ideas to create awareness as well as, bring light to how we can conserve and protect our environment, simultaneously continuing with all activities. This was reflected by the work that we put up on our social media paradigms and also by the competitions and events that were organized.
We were able to look past a lot of constraints throughout the year as a collective and as individuals too.
Thus, being environmentally conscious and taking steps that enhance, replenish the environment and with this fundamental ideology, we would like to chime into a New Year, with pragmatism and prudence.

As we approach to the end of this expansive year, the merry lights and the sparkle of Christmas has finally arrived. We at ChemisTree-DTU, throughout the year put in constant efforts to curate a sense of change and the replenishment towards the environment, making sure that all festivities are safe and environment-friendly. For Christmas, we wish the amount of bliss and merriment, be incorporated with our prudence towards the environment, by making recurring efforts.

May the sparkle of the lights and the birthday of Jesus Christ, help us achieve higher levels of success and virility, as a collective and individuals as well.

May this bright festival be celebrated with an environmentally prudent extravaganza!

ChemisTree-DTU wrapped up its weeklong flagship event Green Summitโ€™21 and here is the experience.

With over 150+ participation from 50+ Colleges and schools across India, environmentalists, young activists came together on one platform to discuss the solution to the most dreadful and important issue of the decade: Biomedical Waste- Itโ€™s management. With this huge participation of students, we discussed on this pressing issue and pledged to spread awareness.

Green Summit started with leading Scientists from CSIR-AMPRI, Environmentalist with their exceptional contribution to the safety of environment, Water Pollution experts coming together in a Panel Discussion on the management of such waste and future developments to tackle its mass production.

We further continued with participants sitting down together virtually and discussing this crisis across various competitions; Meraki-The Open Mic, Tark-Vitark, Envisage and many more.

In the end entire team of ChemisTree-DTU is elated to thank every participant every activist out there for making this yearโ€™s event a success.

ChemisTree DTU brings you an Upcycling Workshop as part of its annual flagship event, Green Summitโ€™21 with the aim of making unique and innovative items from waste materials that can be used further for other purposes.
