Under the Umbrella of Corporate Talk Series iGuru, SSIM organized a session on the topic ‘Digital Hacks for a Smart Career’ by Abir lal Mukherjee (Managing Partner- Edlytics) on 9th August 2022. The session was all about the career progression and advancements for an individual through digitization. The easy accessibility and utilization of newer technologies make it simple for Generation Z to learn new skills, implement these skills in their career. Mr. Mukherjee emphasized on the invariable improvements in technology in the past few years. He suggested students to be updated on the recent changes for a sustainable career.

Orientation Programme was held on 08th August at Sri Sukhmani Institute of Management, Dwarka. Our Chief Guest was Ms. Neha Bansal, an IAS officer and Commissioner Food Safety of Dept. of Food Safety, Govt of NCT of Delhi. Our Guest of Honor was Ms. Yashika Kaushal, Director- Talent, Learning and Development, DEI. The programme was inaugurated with the lighting lamp prayer of Goddess Saraswati which was addressed by respected Chief Guest and Guest of Honor.

After invocation and prayer, Dr. Dharambeer Singh, Director SSIM addressed and welcome all for their orientation programme.
Thereafter a mindful session was given by our Chief Guest and Guest of Honor which engaged the minds and hearts of students in such a way that motivates them to think more clearly, see opportunities, and move forward with action.

URJJA hosts various sports events like Badminton, Chess, Cricket, Carrom, Kho-Kho, Tug-of-war, Treasure Hunt etc. Further, all these events offers exciting prizes to the winners. These events are conducted with the aim of overall development of all the participants.

Fresher’s party is a gracious and a cordial welcome to the first year students. It is an event where freshers are not only given a chance to exhibit their talents but also feel comfortable and adapt to the new surroundings. With this spirit, “Talent’ O Fiesta” was organized on 01st October 2021 at ‘Suroor Reloaded’, Rajouri Garden to felicitate the first year students for the new journey ahead.

The event was graced by the presence of Director, faculty and staff members of SSIM. A series of amazing performances were put up by the students, a fiesta consisting of dance, talent show, fashion show, singing performances and standup comedy.

The event wouldn’t have been a huge success without the valuable efforts of Team SSIM, who constantly aided the students in organizing this grand fiesta. The Director addressed the first year with his esteemed words of wisdom and encouraged them to excel in all spheres of life.
