Apeejay School, Saket successfully organised Orientation Programme – III for Kindergarten on 22nd August 2026. The programme was thoughtfully designed to strengthen the home-school partnership and provide parents with valuable insights into the learning, well-being and holistic development of their children.
The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by an insightful session by Dr Preeti Anand, Resource Person, who sensitised parents about health and hygiene, healthy food habits, and the important concepts of good touch and bad touch, empowering them to create a safe and healthy environment for their children.
This was followed by an address by the Respected Principal Sir, who shared his valuable thoughts and guidance with the parents.
The programme further included a series of informative and interactive sessions:
Lakshmi Ma’am shared practical parenting tips and positive parenting practices.
Sahaya Ma’am conducted an engaging bedtime storytelling session, highlighting its role in developing language, imagination, listening skills and emotional bonding.
Sunita Ma’am guided parents on the effective use of the Parent App and Moodle, including daily activities, learning updates, resources and important circulars.
Muskan Ma’am conducted an interactive “Know Your Child” activity, encouraging parents to reflect on their child's interests, preferences and individual needs.
Warisha Ma’am demonstrated effective ways to support sentence reading and digraph practice at home.
Sunita Ma’am concluded the sessions with a refreshing and energetic Zumba activity, encouraging parents to participate actively and enjoy the experience.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks, expressing sincere gratitude to the school leadership, Dr Preeti Anand, all the participating teachers and the parents for their valuable presence and enthusiastic participation.
