Hiring: District Manager – Skill Yatra (ASDM)

Unifiers Social Ventures Pvt. Ltd. invites applications for the position of District Manager – Skill Yatra, a flagship career awareness and skilling initiative under the Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM).

Role: District Manager – Skill Yatra
Location: Assigned District(s), Assam
Engagement Type: Fixed-term project contract (40 days, extendable based on performance and project requirements)
Remuneration: Up to ₹45,000 per month (based on experience and performance)
Additional Benefits: District travel support and weekly performance-based incentives will be provided
Work Mode: Field-based role

The District Manager will lead district-level ex*****on, stakeholder coordination, team supervision, and monitoring of on-ground implementation to strengthen career awareness and employability outcomes for Assam’s youth.

Preferred: Prior experience working on the Skill Yatra project.

A Milestone Event at Sibsagar University📈

The Skill Yatra program’s Flag-Off event in Sivasagar District was successfully held at Sibsagar University. The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries, including:
- K. N. Chandana Jahnavi, IAS, Assistant Commissioner, Sivasagar
- Dr. Prafulla Ch. Kalita, University Registrar
- Dr. Tridib Mahanta, Academic Registrar
- Dr. Diganta Borah, Dean of Students’ Welfare

During the event, Ms. K. N. Chandana Jahnavi, IAS, delivered an inspiring session, interacting with students on the importance of career opportunities and emphasizing that skills along with education lead to great heights. She also shared her personal journey of preparing for the UPSC examination, motivating students with real-life insights.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with around 500 students actively engaged till the conclusion of the program.

With this milestone, the Skill Yatra initiative has been successfully launched in the 19th district of Assam.

From reaching 18 districts across Assam to now expanding into 17 more, Skill Yatra continues its journey of empowering young minds through career awareness, skill awareness, and opportunities for growth.
