Guru Nanak Public School successfully organized a “ Skill Up Summer camp Programme” for the students of Classes VI, VII and VIII from 13 May 2026 to 15 May 2026. The programme aimed at developing essential life skills, communication abilities, emotional awareness, digital responsibility, and financial understanding among students. The sessions were conducted daily from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in an engaging and interactive manner.
13 May 2026 – Emotional Intelligence:
The sessions focused on Emotional Intelligence and were designed to help students understand and manage their emotions effectively. Various activities and discussions were conducted to enhance self-awareness, empathy, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills. Students were also introduced to practical self-management strategies such as the Pause–Breathe–Think–Act technique, which encouraged them to respond thoughtfully in challenging situations. Role plays, reflection exercises, and group activities made the sessions highly engaging and meaningful.
14 May 2026 – Expression and Communication Lab
The second day centred around the topic Expression and Communication Lab. Through interactive activities, public speaking exercises, storytelling, collaborative tasks, and confidence-building exercises, students learned the importance of effective communication and positive self-expression. The sessions also focused on active listening, body language, and respectful communication skills, helping students build confidence in expressing their thoughts and ideas.
15 May 2026 – Financial and Digital Literacy
The final day focused on Financial and Digital Literacy. Students gained valuable knowledge about financial awareness, responsible spending habits, saving practices, digital responsibility, cyber safety, and the smart use of technology in daily life. Interactive discussions and real-life examples helped students understand the importance of making informed and responsible decisions in both financial and digital spaces.
The Skill Up Programme proved to be highly informative, enriching, and interactive.

The students of the school participated in a Kirtan Darbar at Gurudwara Sri Guru Singh Sabha on 19 May 2026 to express gratitude to the Almighty for the excellent results achieved by the students in the CBSE Class X and XII Board Examinations. The spiritual gathering filled the atmosphere with devotion and positivity. Students, staff members, HOS and School Management Committee prayed for continued success, wisdom, and blessings for the entire school community.
