25th Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in Air Force Bal Bharati on ‘25th July 26,2024 to remember India’s war victory and to pay tribute to the Kargil’s martyr who were the symbol of courage and sacrifice for safeguarding the borders of our country. It was this day in 1999, when India recaptured the heights of Kargil from Pakistani infiltrators, ending the 60-day ‘Operation Vijay’ successfully. Indian soldiers showed tremendous courage and fought till the end to recapture the Kargil outposts from the Pakistanis. A special assembly was held with great patriotic enthusiasm. The programme commenced with the soulful prayer followed by speech and poems to mark the day. The assembly culminated with the National Anthem. The students commemorated the day with slogans and bravery of soldiers, sang patriotic songs and filled the entire atmosphere with patriotism.

July 15, 2024: Air Force Bal Bharati School, Lodi Road, commemorated its 70th Raising Day.

The Chief Guest, Air Marshal Makarand Ranade, AVSM, VM Gallantry, Director General Inspection and Safety, Indian Air Force and Mrs Vaishali Ranade graced the occasion and felicitated the school Principal Mrs Sunita Gupta with a momento.

AVM Rajeev Sharma VSM, ACAS (Edu) was the guest of honour.

AFBBS Class X Achievers 2024

The AFBBS Reading Club, in collaboration with , organized a literary gala event where everyone basked in the golden glow of the unveiling of *Gobind* by esteemed Lieutenant Commander Harinder Singh Sikka (Retd.). Currently the group director of strategic business at Piramal Group, he is also an accomplished author, and his film, *Nanak Shah Fakir*, won acclaim at international film festivals at Cannes, Toronto, and Los Angeles. This event, held at Airforce Bal Bharati School, was truly magical. Here's to the power of literature and the joy it brings to our lives.

During the interactive session with Mr. Harinder Sikka (), he generously awarded a cash prize to Varunika of Class 9 for her wisdom and in-depth knowledge.

Junior Wing of AFBBS held its Orientation Day, extending a warm welcome to the parents of its youngest learners,the UKG and Class 1F students.
Grandparents Day was also celebrated and grandparents were welcomed with open
arms and heartfelt words by our school principal Mrs Sunita Gupta and Jr School Headmistress Mrs Anju Singh.

AFBBS Jr Wing - WON Overall in Raghubir Singh Jr Modern School Inter school Athletic Meet, Humayun Road, New Delhi held on 20th February at RSJMS.
