Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Secondary School, Mehrauli, Delhi, commemorated the Prakash Purab of Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji with deep devotion and reverence.

The special assembly commenced with Ardaas followed by the recitation of sacred Shabads. Students delivered speeches, and gave presentations highlighting the life and teachings of Guru Ji—affectionately known as "Bala Pritam"—emphasizing compassion, selfless service (Seva), and healing.

Shri Guru Harkrishan Sahib Ji, who assumed Guruship at the age of five, embodied and spread the timeless message of universal love, equality, and dedicated service to humanity.

On the occasion of *World Elephant Day 2026*, Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Secondary School organized a *Save Elephant* Drawing & Colouring Competition to spread awareness about elephant conservation and wildlife protection. Students from different classes participated enthusiastically and expressed their creativity through beautiful drawings and posters based on the theme "Save Elephants, Save Nature."
And students wore elephant masks and took a pledge to protect elephants. They promised to save elephants, protect wildlife, and spread awareness about elephant conservation.
