Read The Hindu, The Indian Express, or any other reputed newspaper daily for about 30 minutes to 2 hours.
If you find The Hindu difficult you can read children’s newspapers like StudentEdge (www.studentedge.in), CuriousTimes(https://curioustimes.in/) etc.
Read the editorial page, science page completely(or as time permits), and relevant* articles from Cover Page, National Page, International, and Business page.
Some of the news, mostly related to economics/business, will be difficult to understand. To make these easy, you should study 2 NCERT Books-
NCERT Class XI Indian Economic Development
NCERT Class XII Introductory Macroeconomics
If you come across any new keyword, clarify it.
You may also write these keywords and their brief description in a notebook.
Write one essay in about 500 to 1000 words every month on any topic of your choice, which is in news.
If you have more spare time from your regular studies, start reading the following books-
NCERT books of SST from class VI to X
NCERT books of Science from class VI to X
NCERT books of Polity XI & XII
NCERT books of Geography XI & XII
NCERT books of History XI & XII
