The Government Railway Police (GRP) in Prayagraj has busted a train phone-snatching gang and arrested two accused involved in multiple theft cases targeting railway passengers 🚆📱

After the arrest, a video released by police showed officers standing with the handcuffed suspects and recovered phone boxes. The clip quickly went viral online, with many social media users praising the police action, while others shared memes about one officer’s appearance, jokingly calling him the “Subway Surfers cop.”

Local journalist Piyush Rai described the gang as part of a “sophisticated operation” that had turned train journeys into stressful experiences for passengers carrying expensive smartphones.
