Shani Jayanti, a significant Hindu festival dedicated to Lord Shani, the lord of Karma and Justice who rules the planet Saturn, will be celebrated on May 19, 2023, as Shani Amavasya.
According to Hindu mythology, Lord Shani was born to Lord Surya and Mother Swarna/Chhaya and is considered the ruler of Karma.
Offer 2 urad made bada put a pinch of sindoor and curd on it and offer it to the Peepal tree.
Offer til made sweets to Shani Dev and namkeen to crow. Do chaya daan with mustard oil and other remedies suggested from time to time. Offer food to the needy and deprived.
