Agrim Sharma began his chess journey at the age of six, initially drawn to the game because of his love for puzzles and problem-solving. What started as a simple interest soon developed into a deep passion, motivating him to constantly improve his skills. Last year, he secured 7th position in the State Chess Championship, a significant milestone in his growing chess career. Over the years, he has won numerous trophies and accolades in tournaments held across cities such as Haridwar, Ghaziabad, Delhi, Lucknow, and Jaipur. Among his recent achievements is the Vedic District Level Chess Championship held on 31 May at Centrio Mall, Dehradun, where he scored an impressive 5 wins out of 6 rounds and emerged as the champion in his category. Currently, Agrim is focused on preparing for the upcoming State Championship in Rudrapur, followed by the National Championship in Ranchi this July. While he aspires to become a Grandmaster one day, he is currently enjoying the journey, learning from every game, and continuously striving to improve as a player.

Pleased to share that our students got the privilege of singing 'Vandematram' in front of the Chief Guest-Honourable Shri Nitin Nabin ji, the National President of BJP, Special Guests of Honour-Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami ji, Honourable Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Shri Dhan Singh Rawat ji, Minister of Higher Education, Shri Mohendra Bhatt ji, State President of Uttarakhand, and many other highly honoured dignitaries. Today, Shivalik University proudly hosted the Academic Conclave on Viksit Bharat 2047, in our Auditorium, which was also inaugurated today by the Chief Guest.

Splashtastic Pool Party

What a fun-filled way to wrap up the last day before the Summer Vacation!
Our little Kindergarten stars had an amazing time splashing in the pool, laughing with friends, dancing to cheerful tunes, and creating beautiful memories together.
The day was filled with joy, excitement, giggles, and endless fun — truly the perfect start to the summer holidays!

PERSONAL SAFETY & GOOD MANNERS WEEK

'Good manners and safety begin with small everyday actions.'

The 'Personal Safety & Good Manners Week' was celebrated in the Pre-Primary Wing to help children learn important values like kindness, respectful behaviour, and personal safety in a fun and engaging way.

Teachers conducted pretend play activities, rhymes, storytelling, speeches, PowerPoint presentations, and public speaking sessions through which students enjoyed learning in a joyful manner. Important lessons related to magic words, classroom etiquette, safe and unsafe situations, stranger awareness, and emotion management were taught in a loving and child-friendly way.

The week helped in building confidence, good habits, and positive values among the young learners while creating a happy and safe learning environment.
