Independence Day was celebrated with patriotic zest across all grades. Students of Nursery to Gr 5 conducted activities on 17th August as 14th was declared a holiday on account of heavy rain.

INTER-SCHOOL FOOTBALL TOURNAMENTS
Our unstoppable team celebrated the 3rd straight win yesterday after defeating Cambrian Hall at the PPSA Inter-School Football Tournament.
The victory belongs to every pass, every tackle, every save and the cheers from the sidelines.

Goalkeeper: Anant Nayal made crucial penalty saves during the shootout. His saves played an important role in securing the victory.
Team BOMIS displayed excellent teamwork, composure, and determination throughout the match.

Birla Open Minds International School started the match with good intensity, maintaining possession and creating early attacking opportunities.
•Tejash opened the scoring with a well-taken goal to give BOMIS a 1–0 lead.
•Anant extended the lead with a composed finish, making it 2–0.
•Saksham Mewal scored the third goal to put BOMIS firmly in control at 3–0.
BOMIS displayed good ball control, attacking build-up, defensive organisation, and game management throughout the match.
The team maintained a clean sheet and comfortably defended the lead until the final whistle.

Date: 11 August 2026 (Tuesday)
Fixture: Birla Open Minds International School, Dehradun vs. Doon Presidency School
Result: 0–0 Draw
The opening league match was highly intense and competitive, with both teams displaying quality football.
Both sides showed good ball possession, passing, pressing, and defensive organisation.
BOMIS created several attacking opportunities and made consistent efforts to break the deadlock, but the opposition defence stood firm. BOMIS maintained a disciplined defensive shape and despite several attempts from both sides, neither team could find the back of the net.
The match ended in a hard-fought 0–0 draw, with both teams earning one point from the opening fixture.
