The School of Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing 1st-year students) organized a nutrition practical program.
A therapeutic calcium-rich diet was prepared for the patients of the Orthopedic Ward Unit 1 at Shri Mahant Indresh Hospital. Students also provided health education to patients and their relatives regarding calcium-rich food sources, functions, and the advantages of calcium. A total of 14 patients received the therapeutic diet. The patients gave positive feedback after having the meal.

The School of Nursing celebrated Anti-Ragging Day & Week 2026 from 12-18 August 2026. Prof. Dr. G. Ramalakshmi, Dean and Prof. Dr. Ponmari K, Antiragging coordinator organized these activities in grand manner. The program concluded with the following activities.
Day 4 (17 August 2026) Anti-Ragging Poster Display--
๐จ Awareness posters were displayed across the campus, including prominent student areas, to reinforce the message โSay No to Ragging.โ
Day 5 (18 August 2026) Anti-Ragging Awareness Rally--
An Anti-Ragging Awareness Rally was organized to spread the message of zero tolerance towards ragging and promote a culture of friendship, dignity and respect.

A ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ค๐ฌ๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐๐ก ๐๐๐๐ ceremony marked the beginning of a new journey at ๐๐ก๐ซ๐ข ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฆ ๐๐๐ข ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ. The three-day programme, held from 17 to 19 August 2026, concluded magnificently on Wednesday. It introduced newly admitted students to academic, cultural, and co-curricular activities. On the final day, DJ beats, rain dance, and celebrations at SGRRU Helipad Ground filled students with excitement.โฃ

The programme was jointly inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor SGRRU, Prof. (Dr.) K. Prathapan and Registrar Dr. Lokesh Gambhir. On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) K. Prathapan said that this new journey marks the beginning of new dreams, hopes and aspirations for every student entering the university. He encouraged students to play a meaningful role in the progress of society and the nation.โฃ
On the final day of Deeksharambh, the high-voltage sound of DJ Saji and a series of popular songs added great energy to the event. Students enthusiastically danced to the lively beats.โฃ

Prof. Dr. Shobhit Garg, HOD Department of Psychiatry at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, shared useful tips on stress management and coping with mental pressure during studies.โฃ

Cultural performances during Deeksharambh featured Bollywood, Garhwali, Punjabi, Bhojpuri, and Nepali music and dance. Students showcased their talents through various performances. Dr. G. Ganarajan read out the address of the Honโble President, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj.โฃ

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Dr. Malvika Kandpal, Convenor of Deeksharambh, followed by the National Anthem. University officials, deans of various schools, heads of departments, faculty members, and thousands of students were present on the occasion. โฃ
