Its you Boozo, you've shared your life with our lives.
In subtle ways you let us know
Your spirit still survives.
Old habits still can make us think
we hear you at the door
Or step back when we drop
a tasty morsel on the floor.
Our feet still go around the place
the food dish used to be,
And, sometimes, coming home at night,
we miss them terribly.

Most of the surprises for the family you knew before them,
From morning temple prayers to evening chants you've attended all in your last 17 years.

You've taught me lessons as a child and then taught my children lessons of love.

We've loved you from the moment I got you packed in a box like a surprise to the moment we had to pack you up in your sheet to our last breaths now.

We will treasure every moment spent with you and all your habits.

We love you.
