Day 2 | Add-On Course on Plant Tissue Culture
Day 2 focused on two essential aspects of successful plant tissue culture: aseptic conditions and sterilization.
Theory Session:
Dr. Sachin Singh introduced students to the concepts of aseptic techniques, contamination control and sterilization, highlighting their importance in maintaining healthy in vitro cultures.
Hands-on Lab Session:
Students gained practical experience in the preparation of stock solutions, strengthening their understanding of the precise measurements and laboratory practices required for plant tissue culture media.
