Doon International School proudly celebrates a spectacular victory at the Inter-School Hindi Debate Competition hosted by Shri Ram Centennial School. Our brilliant debaters demonstrated exceptional oratory, persuasive rhetoric, incisive logic, eloquence and confidence, emerging as the OVERALL WINNERS and proudly lifting the coveted Overall Winners’ Trophy. Adding to this remarkable achievement, Ansh Gupta was honoured as Best Speaker (Paksh), while Aditi Chauhan earned the prestigious title of Best Speaker (Vipaksh).

We celebrated our nation’s 80th Independence Day with immense pride and patriotic fervour. The presence of our Chief Guest, Lt. Gen. Ajay Kumar Singh PVSM, AVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, PhD (Retd.), made the occasion truly memorable. The event was attended by the Founder Principal Mrs. M.K. Mann, Chairman Mr. D.S. Mann, Directors of the school and the Principal Dr. Dinesh Bartwal. The school was also privileged to welcome three distinguished guests—Dr. Kunwar Raj Asthana, Mr. Rajive Rekhi and Mrs. Sunita Rekhi—whose gracious presence further enhanced the significance of the celebration.
The ceremony began with the solemn unfurling of the National Flag and the National Anthem, evoking a deep sense of patriotism and pride. Our young orators Aadya Dhawan, Geetisha Gaurangvi and Unnati Dimri paid tribute to our freedom fighters, while students brought the spirit of the nation alive through stirring patriotic performances.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by our Director, Mr. H.S. Mann, who expressed gratitude to all present and inspired our young minds to uphold courage, character and conviction in their journey towards building a stronger, united and resurgent India.

Doon International School proudly applauds the outstanding accomplishments of its students at a prestigious Model United Nations conference organised by The TonsBridge School. Rushil Batra, representing Japan in ECOSOC, AadyaVirmani, representing Thailand in BRICS and A***n Singh, representing Russia in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), were honoured with the Best Delegate Award. Their remarkable success reflects the school's enduring pursuit of excellence and its emphasis on fostering critical thinking, eloquence and leadership. The school extends its heartfelt congratulations to the young achievers for bringing immense pride and distinction to the institution.

Squadron Leader Vaishali Bhandari, an alumna of Doon International School, Dalanwala (Batch of 2009), has made us immensely proud as a member of Team Triveni, the first-ever Tri-Services All-Women Circumnavigation Sailing Expedition.
The team successfully completed a remarkable 10-month, 25,500-nautical-mile voyage around the globe, aboard the indigenously built IASV Triveni, navigating some of the world’s most challenging waters. The expedition culminated in Mumbai on 22 July 2026, where the team was virtually welcomed by Hon’ble Defence Minister Shri Rajnath Singh.
Vaishali’s remarkable achievement reflects courage, determination and the spirit of breaking barriers. Doon International School takes immense pride in her remarkable achievement and wishes her continued success.
