Today, the Ethos Club of Fylfot Public School proudly hosted โMinutes to Deliver, Years to Build: The Local Shopkeeperโs Storyโ โ an engaging Offline + Online Documentary that explored the changing realities of local shopkeepers in the age of online marketplaces and quick-commerce delivery.
Under the offline theme, โYears of Struggle. Thousands of Voices. One Uttarakhand.โ, students reflected on the challenges, resilience and untold stories of local businesses and communities.
A special thank you to our esteemed guest, Mr. Harijinder, for sharing his valuable perspective and experiences with our young learners. The session offered students an opportunity to understand the importance of local entrepreneurship, changing consumer behaviour and the human stories behind every small business.

Career Conference 2026 | From Aspirations to Armed Forces ๐ฎ๐ณ
Fylfot Public School successfully hosted the Career Conference 2026, organised by the Ethos Club, on 21 August 2026, centred around the theme โFrom Aspirations to Armed Forces.โ
The conference featured our distinguished alumna, Ms. Ishika Thapa, Fylfot Public School Batch 2019 (PCM), who interacted with students and shared valuable insights from her academic and professional journey towards a career in the Armed Forces.
With qualifications including B.Sc. (PCM), M.Sc. Chemistry, and successful qualification in CDS and AFCAT, Ms. Thapaโs journey offered students meaningful perspectives on career opportunities, preparation, discipline and perseverance required to pursue a career in the Armed Forces.
The session served as an enriching platform for students to explore their aspirations, gain career clarity and understand the importance of purpose, dedication and consistent effort in achieving their goals.

๐ Shri Pooran Singh Rana Memorial Inter-School English Debate Championship 2026
Fylfot Public School, Dehradun, successfully hosted the Shri Pooran Singh Rana Memorial Inter-School English Debate Championship 2026 on 19 August 2026 for Classes VIโVIII, with enthusiastic participation from 10 schools.
The event was graced by Mrs Rajani Rana, Chief Guest, who has dedicated 33 years to Government Education and served as a Government School Principal.
The distinguished judging panel comprised Prof. (Dr.) P. K. Chaudhary, Professor & Director, JBIT, Dehradun, and Dr Nisha Khan, Assistant Professor, School of Liberal Arts, Uttaranchal University.
The programme began with ceremonial lamp lighting and the presentation of saplings by Mrs Roochika Rana, Director, Fylfot Public School; Ms. Anita Rawat, Principal, Fylfot Public School; and Mrs S. Sabharwal, School Coordinator. The school and dignitary introductions were presented by School Captains Miss Molshree Rana (Head Girl) and Master Arnav Badoni (Head Boy).

The celebration began with the ceremonial flag hoisting, followed by the National Anthem, filling the campus with a deep sense of pride and respect for our nation. ๐ฎ๐ณ
The day continued with inspiring performances, vibrant cultural presentations and heartfelt moments that beautifully reflected the values of freedom, unity, courage and responsibility.
