The WII-NMCG team conducted a sensitization programme at Government Middle School, Nasriganj, Danapur, Patna District, Bihar, with the participation of 50 students and 2 teachers. The session focused on Ganga biodiversity and its conservation through interactive discussions and learning activities. An engaging quiz was conducted, followed by prize distribution to encourage active participation and reinforce key conservation messages. The WII-NMCG team conducted a consultative meeting with the Principal of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Shastri Nagar, Patna, Bihar, to discuss the establishment of a Bal Ganga Prahari Corner and plan future sensitization programmes on Ganga biodiversity and conservation. The meeting emphasized strengthening environmental awareness among students through continued engagement. "Inspiring Young Hearts to Protect the Wild"🐯

On the occasion of World Tiger Day, the WII–NMCG Team conducted a Yoga Session with the special children, including partially blind students, of Parmarth Vijay Public School (Divyang Chhatrawas), Tunalka, Naugaon, Uttarkashi. The session promoted physical and mental well-being while spreading awareness about tiger conservation, biodiversity, and the importance of protecting nature. The enthusiastic participation of the students made the event truly inspiring. WII-NMCG team celebrated World Tiger Day with more than 70 students and 3 teachers from St. Kabeer Academy, Dehradun. Marking this year's global theme, "Securing the Future of Tigers with Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities at the Heart," the programme highlighted the importance of tiger conservation and the vital role of local communities in protecting wildlife and their habitats. Through an interactive lecture and engaging activities, students learned about tiger ecology, conservation challenges, and the need to safeguard biodiversity for future generations. On the occasion of World Nature Conservation Day, Anubhuti Kendra under WII-NMCG project at Kanpur Zoological Park organized a vibrant sensitization workshop in collaboration with the students of Saryu Narayan Bal Vidhyalaya.
Children enthusiastically participated and expressed powerful messages of conservation through posters highlighting ' to conserve and save our ecosystem' Each artwork reflected their deep understanding of nature, wildlife protection, and the urgent need to preserve our environment.
To recognize their remarkable efforts, WII Dehradun along with Women Empowerment Welfare Society honored all participating children with medals.
