An evening where music transcended words and touched every heart…
Manava Bharati proudly hosted a mesmerizing musical evening on Saturday before the summer break begins. “Rhythms and Ragas”, celebrating the timeless beauty of Indian classical music and soulful melodies. The atmosphere came alive with rhythm, harmony, and artistic brilliance as students, teachers, and guests immersed themselves in an unforgettable musical experience.
The highlight of the evening was the captivating performance by renowned Hindustani classical vocalist Avinash Mishra of the illustrious Banaras Gharana. Having begun his musical journey at the tender age of four under the guidance of the legendary Pandit Hanuman Prasad Mishra Ji, he carries forward the rich musical legacy of his maternal grandfathers, Padma Bhushan Pandit Rajan Mishra, and the esteemed Pandit Sajan Mishra. His soulful renditions reflected depth, devotion, and the true essence of Indian classical tradition.
He was gracefully accompanied by Vikas Panuly on tabla and Anirudh Mishra on harmonium, whose remarkable artistry added charm and richness to the performances.
The evening commenced with the serene presentation of Raag Yaman through “Piya Bin”, followed by the melodious thumri “Aiso Sundar”. Adding a contemporary touch to the classical ambience, the artists also presented the soulful Bollywood melody “Yeh Moh Moh Ke Dhaage” on students’ special request. The timeless ghazal “Aaj Jaane Ki Zid Na Karo” further enchanted the audience with its elegance and emotional depth.
The programme concluded with heartfelt gratitude and the felicitation of the artists by Director Dr. Himanshu Shekhar and Principal Mr. Ajay Gupta. The enchanting evening left everyone spellbound, celebrating the enduring magic of music and culture.

On Friday, 15th May 2026, Manava Bharati School hosted an inspiring english comic strip activity in class 7th. The event featured a powerful theme: “Before and After.”This theme challenged students to unleash their creativity. They imagined a positive future where the world is beautifully clean, and people actively recycle and reuse resources. In contrast, they also depicted a negative future plagued by pollution and trash. While artistic styles varied, every single piece was created with heart, telling its own unique story. Through their artwork, the students didn't just draw on paper—they showcased real, actionable solutions to reduce pollution and protect our planet.
