Glimpse of Energy Pathway
An engaging event by UPES FIPI Student Chapter, where participants’ presentation skills and critical thinking were put to the test, challenging them to think fast, adapt, and communicate with clarity under pressure.
Within a 10-minute ideation window followed by a 2-minute pitch, participants demonstrated sharp critical thinking, strong teamwork, and innovative approaches to real energy challenges.
The event highlighted how creative minds can transform energy concepts into practical and sustainable solutions.

Glimpses of Saksham 2026
Saksham 2026 at our campus, organized in collaboration with ONGC, was a celebration of awareness, action, and sustainability under the theme “Conserve Oil & Gas, Go Green.”
The event featured an insightful session, an engaging quiz, an inspiring address, and a creative drawing competition all centered around the powerful message: “Conserve Oil, Go Green, Live Green.”
The journey concluded with the Valedictory Ceremony on 16.02.26, marking a proud and inspiring end to the initiative. The ceremony celebrated participation, dedication, and commitment toward sustainable energy and responsible engineering.
A proud highlight UPES FIPI students won, making the occasion even more special.
A reminder that sustainability doesn’t start with policies it starts with people.

Glimpses of Gaumitra
A day rooted in compassion, care, and quiet responsibility.
Through Gaumitra, we spent meaningful time at a cow shelter — cleaning the space, feeding the cows, arranging fodder, helping the staff and simply being present. It was a reminder that service does not always need words; sometimes, it only needs intention.
This initiative reflected the essence of empathy and social responsibility — giving back with humility and respect. Moments like these ground us, teach us gratitude, and remind us of the impact of small, sincere actions.
Grateful for everyone who came forward and contributed to making Gaumitra a truly meaningful experience.

It helps in resolution of issues and evolution of policies and regulations. It represents the industry on Government bodies, committees and task forces and has been submitting recommendations to the Government on behalf of the industry on various issues.
It aims to be the most effective and influential voice of the oil & gas industry to facilitate its development as a globally competitive industry in India that enjoys the respect and trust of the society. Several Government policy initiatives have their genesis in its reports and publications, some of which are quoted in documents like the Integrated Energy Policy.
UPES Student chapter of the FIPI Society was established on 24th September 2007. It divvy’s the areas of growth in the fields of exploration, drilling, production and processing, refining, pipeline, transportation, petrochemicals, natural gas, LNG, petroleum trade, economics, legal human resource development, marketing, research and development, information The chapter is the only of its kind as it holds the largest diversity in student membership. Students from all the three colleges of the university, namely College of Engineering Studies, College of Management & Economic Studies and the College of Legal Studies are an integral part of the chapter.
