🎈🧪 When Chemistry Blows Up a Balloon!
Can you inflate a balloon without blowing air into it?
Our students discovered the answer through a simple and exciting classroom experiment! 🔬✨
Using vinegar and baking soda, a chemical reaction was carried out that produced carbon dioxide (CO₂) gas. As the CO₂ gas formed, it moved into the balloon and gradually inflated it! 🎈
The Chemistry Behind It:
Baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) reacts with the acid present in vinegar, releasing carbon dioxide gas.
This activity helped students understand: 🔹 How a chemical reaction can produce a gas
🔹 Formation and properties of CO₂
🔹 How gas occupies space and exerts pressure
🔹 How concepts from textbooks can be observed in real life
At A.M.I Coaching Center, we believe science should not just be memorised — it should be experienced. 🧪💡
Because when students SEE science happen, they understand it better.
