Very sad news coming from Bandhavgarh National Park.

Pujari (first photo) was killed by D1 (last photo) in a brutal territorial fight between the two.

It is heartbreaking to see two tigers that I have known since they were cubs fight until death.

It is natural for male tigers to fight over territory and females, but rarely do these battles end this way. I can only imagine how fierce the confrontation must have been.

Sadly, instances like these are becoming more frequent as tiger populations in India continue to rise and many parks are pushed beyond their carrying capacity.

Tigers need space to disperse into other forests and landscapes. The Government of Madhya Pradesh has taken positive steps in recent months by relocating animals from surplus areas to deficit areas.

But those new areas also need stronger protection, healthy prey populations, and long-term security if they are to truly support dispersing tigers.

With profound sorrow & grief we condole the sacrifice of Agniveer Naggammiium Mate 20year old, ,who was deployed in rescue operation in Akhnoor to save the civilians from the fury of swelled mighty Chenab River, was himself swept away by the flooded river.His body was traced after three days by his colleagues.
He hailed from Manipur & had donned olive green uniform afew days prior to this sad incident.we salute his valour,dedication &Spirit of sacrifice.

🛬 Major Air India Boeing 787 Crash — Flight AI171

Flight AI171, a Boeing 787‑8 Dreamliner bound for London Gatwick, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad’s Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport at around 1:38 pm IST.

The crash site was in Meghani Nagar, impacting the hostel block of BJ Medical College, killing many students and staff.

Out of 242 onboard (230 passengers + 12 crew), 241 lost their lives; only one survivor, British–Indian national Vishwashkumar Ramesh (seat 11A), who escaped with injuries.

He died even before he stayed living. He was 23 yrs old.
Lt Shashank Tiwari sacrificed his life while rescuing a fellow soldier from being swept away in a river during an operational patrol in higher altitudes of .

It shows two things.

1. Such are the bonds of brotherhood in the Indian Army.

2. Officers lead from the front by setting personal example.
