The Department of Civil Engineering, GEHU, Dehradun, in association with the Department of Civil Engineering, Graphic Era (Deemed to be University), is organizing an Annual Survey Camp for Civil Engineering students at the Bhimtal Campus from 20–31 December 2025.

The camp will focus on providing practical field exposure in topographical surveying, map study, reconnaissance, and the use of modern surveying instruments—bridging theory with real-world application.

This initiative will strengthen students’ technical skills and on-field confidence, preparing them for professional challenges ahead.

On the occasion of Engineers’ Day (15th September) the students of Civil Engineering from Graphic Era Hill University, Dehradun, had the privilege to visit the Survey Museum at the Geodetic & Research Branch, Survey of India, Dehradun.

The visit offered students a rare opportunity to explore the rich legacy of cartography, geodesy, and geospatial sciences, while learning about the pioneering contributions and instruments of the Survey of India.

This experiential learning not only deepened our students technical knowledge but also inspired them to uphold the spirit of innovation and excellence that Engineers’ Day celebrates.

The Department of Civil Engineering, Graphic Era Hill University, organized an industrial visit to DECORA – Edition 2.0, the premier Design Expo of Construction, Real Estate, and Architecture on 4th September 2025.

Students, accompanied by faculty members, had an excellent opportunity to explore the latest innovations in construction, real estate, and architecture, interact with industry professionals, and gain practical insights into emerging technologies, building materials, and sustainable practices.

This visit aimed to strengthen the industry-academia connect and provide students with exposure beyond classroom learning, preparing them for future professional challenges.
