Our school celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April 2026 with a lot of enthusiasm.
Our staff members worked hard in coming up with the theme and organizing this small event.
The cardboard models that were put up for decoration and also hanging on the necks of the students were made by them at home. They certainly deserve applause for their creativity and effort. 👏👏👏
It is important for the current generation to know the repercussions of excessive human interference, effects of global warming and understand the importance of saving our Earth.
I hope with this, we were able to educate and instil a sense of urgency in them to work towards saving our planet.
Our school teachers are not far behind in showing their patriotism.

Sir Syed Public School celebrated our 77th Republic Day with full josh and pride.
With the sun bestowing us it's warmth, our program started with the unfurling of the tricolor by our principal Mrs. Rafat Hasan followed by our National Anthem.
Our students and teachers had prepared power packed performances, speeches and some acta that showcased the love we have for our nation.
Republic Day is a day when we should stop and think the ideology behind the making of our Constitution. The brilliant minds behind that worked tirelessly to create one of the most powerful Constitutions' of the world.
We must take a pledge to follow and fulfil our duties and right as a citizen of this country and also hold others accountable when we see or hear any wrongdoing.

As India celebrates children's today, 14th November, 2025 was a special day for the students of Sir Syed Public School as well.
Owing to the "auspiciousness" and "sanctity" of today's date and day, we followed the age old custom of discarding books and notebooks and indulging in fun and frolic. 😜
Children were delighted to play multiple games and we also held a drawing competition, the winners of which were awarded with a small token of appreciation by our Principal Mrs. Rafat Hasan.
You can see the utter joy and happiness in each and everyone's face.
Seeing these smiles also made us remember our founder Mr. Nafisul Hasan, who was always up and about with the students when it was time for fun.
We hope that we get many more such fun filled days in the near future.

On 18th October, 2025, the year's most awaited 24th Annual Day was celebrated with loads of celebration and fun.
This year, we tried to show our country's culture through various dances such as Kashmiri, Garhwali, Punjabi, and Rajasthani.
The tiny-tots of our school enlightened us with the benefits of including fruits and vegetables in our diets. Their cute accents and costumes were a sight to see and hear.
We also did not forget to educate the audience on many current issues, such as climate change and its harmful effects on our environment, gender equality, and the rising problem of mobile addiction.
And last but not least, the much-awaited Qawwali depicted the state of the school teachers in a funny and musical way.
Among these programs, we also facilitated our students who have not only performed well in their yearly examinations but also appreciated their sense of discipline, cleanliness, timeliness, and the efforts they put towards all year round in other extracurricular activities.
Our guests of honour, Mrs. Sangeeta Gupta (Parshad, Mitralok Colony), Mr. Anurag Gupta (Social Worker), and Mr. Pramod Gupta (Congress Worker) highly appreciated the performances and highlighted the school's role in developing a child's personality. They also appreciated our efforts in continuing the legacy and dream of Mr. Nafisul Hasan.
With their teachers guiding them all the way, the talents of the children shine on the stage. This event is the culmination of the efforts of the entire school towards something other than the mundane routine of studying.
It is these events that give us hope for a better future for these children and a satisfaction that the future that we are nurturing will someday lead this nation to newer heights.

On 5th September, 2025, our school students celebrated Teachers' Day with much enthusiasm. The children wait for this day to have some fun with their ever "strict" teachers and Principal. 😉
Even though they were busy with their half-yearly exams, the students took out time for practice and showcased their affection for their teachers.
Our teachers also got some relief from the usual limbo of teaching, paper and notebook checking, and scolding. 😜
Celebrating the teachers in such a way not only gives them a morale boost but also reminds them of their duty towards shaping the minds of these young ones for a better India.
