Team Astral secured 7th Rank worldwide with an overall percentage of 98.00% in the Annual CanSat Competition 2020. We would like to thank UPES and Schools of Engineering and Design without whose support this wouldn't have been possible.

Team Astral 2020 bids adieu as we conclude our Critical Design Review for CanSat Competition 2020.
It might be sooner than we expected but the memories we made in such a short amount of time will last an eternity. It doesn't matter what the result of the competition is, because these moments which we created and the lessons we got from each other through this competition, have taught us more about life than 4 years of engineering.
During the course of this competition, all of us had to push ourselves to the limit, and sometimes even more, but that could not have been possible without the constant support from fellow teammates and our seniors, because once you join a team, you never really leave, even after a long time.
Whatever the result of this competition, Team Astral will return again next year with the same enthusiasm and energy...Like we always do.

After the completion of Mission 2018, Team Astral is gearing up once again to take on CanSat Mission 2019.
Finally we are pleased to announce the team members for this year challenge who have successfully made it to the Team by clearing all the scrutinization processes with their skills and utmost sincerity.

“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much.”
Following this quote and performing with the best of the abilities, Team Astral has successfully qualified the first round (Preliminary Design Review-PDR) of CanSat 2018. This round was the most crucial phase as it decides the top 40 teams who will be launching their science vehicles in Stephenville, Texas (USA) and the team has scored a percentage score of 98.4848 and bagged rank 6th in the same.
It is a matter of great joy and a motivation to excel in the upcoming phases. Congratulations to the team members and mentors. Cheers to the amazing team spirit and enthusiasm!

2017 was a year full of challenges and accomplishments for Team ASTRAL. The journey wasn’t easy but it was absolutely worth the efforts. Altogether, 2017 was a unique learning experience in itself.
Now as another journey of 365 days begins today, Team ASTRAL wishes you a year full of fulfilment, joy, peace and purpose. Close your eyes to old ends and open your heart to new directions.
