Students at Doon International School Riverside Campus recently participated in an engaging wellness workshop conducted by Dr. Divya Mishra on “Fueling Your Future: Nutrition for a Brilliant Brain & Active Body.” The session highlighted how everyday food choices influence memory, focus, mood, and energy. Students discovered the power of “brain foods” like fruits, nuts, lentils, and green vegetables, while also learning about the importance of hydration and essential micronutrients for brain performance. With practical tips on smart snacking, balanced meals, and healthy habits, the workshop inspired students to make mindful choices that support both their academic growth and overall well-being.

The students of Doon International School Riverside Campus proudly participated in a Story Writing Competition organized by The Times of India in collaboration with the Ruskin Bond Foundation and Pacific Group at Mall of Dehradun. The top ten entries from our school were sent for central evaluation, and we are delighted to share that Reyansh Srivastava of Grade VIII had his story published in a special booklet unveiled by Ruskin Bond on Children’s Day, 14th November 2025. A proud moment celebrating creativity, imagination and young literary talent!

Students of Classes VI–VIII enthusiastically participated in a dynamic Maths Quiz conducted by . The quiz fostered logical thinking and strengthened conceptual understanding through fun, competitive rounds. A special highlight was the use of mathematical manipulatives to simplify algebraic concepts, making learning interactive and engaging.

At Doon International School, Riverside Campus, innovation took center stage!

On 18th February 2026, our Class XI students, in collaboration with the IT Department, conducted a special assembly to mark World Innovation Day.

The highlight of the morning was an engaging podcast exploring Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and current technological trends & events, sparking meaningful conversations about the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
An interactive quiz added to the excitement, encouraging enthusiastic participation and healthy competition among students.
The session successfully nurtured curiosity, critical thinking, and digital awareness- empowering our learners to become informed innovators of tomorrow.
