A key connectivity boost may be on the way for commuters and travelers on the Dehradun–Mussoorie Road. The under-construction permanent bridge near Shiv Mandir is targeted for completion within 2–3 months, according to officials, after a recent site inspection by CM Pushkar Singh Dhami.
A two-way Bailey bridge is also progressing, with movement expected to improve as work advances. The project is being seen as important for easing congestion and improving travel ahead of the tourist season.
For many who regularly use the Doon–Mussoorie route, this could bring much-needed relief after months of disruption.
