Knowing how to use a fire extinguisher correctly can make the difference between controlling a small fire and allowing it to become a major emergency.

In this video, learn the **PASS technique** — the simple method to remember how to operate a fire extinguisher:

🔥 **P – Pull** the safety pin to activate the extinguisher.
🔥 **A – Aim** the nozzle at the **base of the fire** (not the flames).
🔥 **S – Squeeze** the handle to release the extinguishing agent.
🔥 **S – Sweep** the nozzle from side to side until the fire is extinguished.

**Important Safety Points:**
✅ Ensure you have a clear escape route before attempting to fight a fire.
✅ Use the correct type of extinguisher for the fire class.
