Congratulations to our talented students Raksh*t Ranghar and Laksh*t Rawat of Grade 5 for their remarkable achievements at the First Tehri District Yoga Championship 2026, organised by the Tehri District Yoga Association Trust in association with the District Sports Office. Both young achievers showcased exceptional skill, discipline, flexibility, and concentration. Raksh*t Ranghar secured 1st Position, while Laksh*t Rawat earned an impressive 3rd Position in their respective categories.
The championship was held on 2nd August 2026 at Rishikesh International. Both students represented Rishikesh Yog Peeth and demonstrated their dedication and passion for yoga.

Congratulations to our talented student Aaryaa Negi of Grade 2 for her remarkable achievement at the 11th Summer Camp Skating & Swimming Championship 2026. Aarya showcased outstanding speed, skill, determination, and sportsmanship to secure an impressive 1st Position in the U-7 Skating Category.
The championship was held on 25th and 28th June 2026 at Gurukul World Sports Academy & Shakun Sports Academy. Her achievement reflects her enthusiasm, dedication, perseverance, and passion for the sport.

Together we Rhyme - Inter-Class Group Recitation Competition – Grades 2 to 5

The Inter-Class Group Recitation Competition for Grades 2 to 5 was organised with great enthusiasm, providing students with a wonderful platform to showcase their confidence, expressive skills, voice modulation, pronunciation, coordination and teamwork. The competition encouraged learners to explore imaginative and meaningful themes through engaging group recitations.

Each grade was assigned a distinct theme that inspired students to bring their performances to life with creativity and expression. The younger learners explored animals and their exciting adventures, while Grade 3 students presented ideas centred around protecting and caring for the environment. Grade 4 learners delved into the fascinating world of myths and legends, while Grade 5 students explored the contrasting characters of heroes and villains.

The performances reflected careful preparation and enthusiastic participation. Students demonstrated impressive voice modulation, rhythm, clarity, facial expressions, gestures and stage presence, while working together as a team. Their ability to coordinate their voices and movements added charm and energy to every presentation.

The competition was a vibrant celebration of language, creativity and collaborative learning. Every performance reflected the students’ dedication and enthusiasm, making the event an enriching experience that strengthened their communication skills, confidence and ability to perform as a team.

80th Independence Day Celebration: Celebrating Freedom, Unity and Hope
“Freedom is not just a gift; it is a responsibility that helps us build a better tomorrow.”

The school campus came alive with patriotic spirit as students and staff gathered to celebrate the 80th Independence Day of India. The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our Managing Director, Mrs. Gagan Jyot Mann, followed by the National Anthem.
A thoughtful speech by Vedanshi Yadav of Grade 5 highlighted the significance of freedom and the responsibilities it brings. The celebration continued with a soulful patriotic song and a vibrant dance performance by the students of Grade 4 & 5. The learners also shared meaningful thoughts on the true essence of independence and how young citizens can contribute towards building a progressive and prosperous nation.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Mann encouraged students to become responsible citizens and reminded them that honesty, kindness, hard work and respect can help build a stronger India. The celebration echoed the spirit of Vande Mataram and concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with pride, gratitude and hope.

National Symbols of India: Our Pride, Our Identity!

The Special Assembly presented by the learners of Grades 1 Marigold and Tulip was a vibrant celebration of India’s national symbols and identity. The young presenters confidently spoke about the National Flag, National Flower, National Bird, National Animal, National Fruit, National Song, Indian currency, and several other symbols that represent the spirit and heritage of our country. Through their clear and enthusiastic presentation, the children shared interesting facts and highlighted the significance of these symbols in representing the rich heritage and identity of our country. Their confident participation made the assembly both informative and engaging. The presentation concluded on a patriotic note as the children came together to sing “Saare Jahan Se Achchha,” filling the school with patriotic spirit and pride. It was a joyful celebration of India and the values that unite us as one nation!

Inter-House EVS Quiz: Think Fast, Shine Bright!
“Curiosity is the beginning of every great discovery.”
The Inter-House EVS Quiz for learners of Grades 2 to 5 was an exciting celebration of knowledge, curiosity, and teamwork. Bringing together enthusiastic participants from all four houses, the quiz featured engaging questions that tested the learners’ understanding of the world around them. With five participants from each house in Grades 2 and 3, the young quiz masters displayed confidence, quick thinking, and excellent teamwork. Teresa House emerged as the proud winner in this category. The competition continued with five participants from each house in Grade 4 and six in Grade 5, who impressed everyone with their knowledge and enthusiasm. Ashoka House clinched the winning title for Grades 4 and 5. The quiz was a wonderful blend of learning, healthy competition, and cheerful excitement!
