Empowering Change: Shaping Leaders in Harmony with Life – SFL Ambassadors Programme
The SFL Ambassadors Programme has been launched with a powerful purpose—to nurture student leaders who lead with empathy and integrity.
Aligned with the School for Life outcomes, the initiative equips students with critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, innovation, adaptability, and ethical decision-making skills—essential to nurturing holistic, responsible individuals.
What began as an orientation has already transformed into real impact.
This week, the newly inducted SFL Ambassadors stepped into their roles with their first outreach visit to a nearby school, where they spent the day teaching children, engaging in interactive games, sharing stories, and distributing free stationery kits. Through real-world outreach, ambassadors learn to convert their capabilities into meaningful action and community improvement.
As they continue the journey, the ambassadors will build supportive spaces, lead student-driven initiatives, and foster a strong culture of belonging—on campus and beyond.

What began as a session on finance evolved into a dialogue on humanity, perspective, and purpose.
Tanay Kediyal, Partner at Gloplax and former senior leader at Wells Fargo and Allstate Finance, took students beyond numbers — into the essence of leadership rooted in empathy, ethics, and critical thinking.
Students discovered how liberal arts thinking refines strategic acumen, emotional intelligence, and communication — the very qualities global leaders value most today.

The School of Liberal Studies and Media, UPES, hosted ShabdSetu on Hindi Diwas to reflect on the role of language as a bridge between people, ideas, and cultures.
Prof. Govind Singh emphasized that language is more than communication—it carries respect, empathy, and the spirit of unity. Dr. Sudha Tiwari further highlighted how linguistic diversity shapes journalism and strengthens understanding in a globalized society.
The event featured powerful poetry performances by students, bringing alive the richness of Hindi as a language of creativity, tradition, and identity. These performances showcased how expression through words can deepen cultural awareness and foster dialogue.
For the students of Liberal Studies and Media, ShabdSetu was not only a celebration but also a meaningful academic experience. It encouraged them to think critically about language, explore its cultural depth, and recognize its central role in media and communication. By engaging with such dialogues, students prepare themselves to become more empathetic, responsible, and culturally aware voices in society.
ShabdSetu reaffirmed that language continues to be a bridge—connecting knowledge with expression, and education with real-world understanding.
