Investiture Ceremony 2026: Celebrating Leadership & Responsibility
The Investiture Ceremony held at Pine Hall School on 22nd April 2026 was a proud and memorable occasion that celebrated leadership, responsibility, and student excellence. The school auditorium echoed with enthusiasm as students, teachers, parents, and distinguished guests gathered to witness the formal induction of the newly elected Student Council for the academic session 2026–27.
The ceremony commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp, symbolising wisdom, positivity, and the beginning of a new journey. The occasion was further enriched by a graceful Ganesh Vandana and vibrant cultural performances, including an energetic Western dance presentation that added colour and festivity to the event.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Rama Anand delivered an inspiring message on the true essence of leadership. She emphasised that leadership is not defined by authority or position, but by service, responsibility, integrity, and the courage to lead by example. Encouraging students to become compassionate, humble, and determined individuals, she reminded them that the world needs young leaders who believe in honesty, humanity, and positive change.
Administering the oath, the Principal urged the young leaders to uphold the values of discipline, dedication, sincerity, and teamwork. The newly elected council members solemnly pledged to discharge their duties with commitment and to serve as role models for their peers while contributing positively to the growth and harmony of the school community.
The ceremonial pinning of badges and draping of sashes marked the formal investiture of the council members, symbolising the trust and responsibility bestowed upon them. The Student Council for the session 2026–27 includes Tanmay as the Head Boy and Manasvi Solanki as the Head Girl. Representing Tilak House are Manish as Captain (Boy), Shradha as Captain (Girl), and Yashasvi Pareek as Vice Captain (Girl). Gandhi House is led by Raghav as Captain (Boy), Manya as Captain (Girl), Raunak Raj as Vice Captain (Boy), and Aradhya as Vice Captain (Girl). Nehru House comprises Sahil as Captain (Boy), Arushka as Captain (Girl), and Aditya Kushwaha as Vice Captain (Boy). Tagore House is represented by Vansh Sahu as Captain (Boy), Gaurangi as Captain (Girl), Sanchit Juyal as Vice Captain (Boy), and Vanshika as Vice Captain (Girl).
The ceremony concluded on a note of pride and inspiration, motivating students to embrace leadership with confidence, humility, and a spirit of service. The event beautifully reflected Pine Hall School’s commitment to nurturing responsible citizens and future leaders.

Sunshine, Smiles & Summer Celebrations ☀️🌼
The school campus radiated joy and excitement as students enthusiastically celebrated the last working day before the summer break with a fun-filled holiday party. The vibrant celebration created an atmosphere of happiness, laughter, and togetherness, leaving everyone with beautiful memories to cherish.
The highlight of the day was the energetic Dance Fiesta, where students showcased their enthusiasm and talent through lively performances on peppy songs. Their cheerful participation filled the surroundings with excitement and festive spirit.
Adding brightness to the celebration was the colourful Yellow Day Celebration. Students and teachers arrived dressed in radiant shades of yellow, symbolising happiness, positivity, warmth, and optimism. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with yellow-themed artwork, balloons, and creative displays, making the environment lively and visually delightful.
The celebration also featured engaging games, musical activities, and interactive sessions that allowed students to relax, rejoice, and bond with their classmates and teachers before the commencement of the holidays.
The programme concluded with warm wishes from the teachers and school authorities, encouraging students to enjoy a safe, healthy, and refreshing summer vacation and return rejuvenated with renewed enthusiasm.

🌿 Pine Hall School Hosts an Inspiring Environmental Awareness Drive 🌿
🎭 Youth Voices for a Cleaner and Greener Doon
On 18 May 2026, Pine Hall School resonated with energy, awareness, and purpose as the dynamic youth group Making a Difference (MAD) visited the campus to conduct a powerful environmental awareness campaign.
Through a captivating and socially relevant Nukkad Natak (street play), the MAD team conveyed a compelling message on environmental conservation and sustainable living. Blending rhythmic expression, insightful satire, and impactful performances, the presentation highlighted the alarming degradation of Dehradun’s rivers and the escalating threat of plastic pollution.
The interactive session inspired students to reflect on their environmental responsibilities and encouraged them to become proactive changemakers by participating in India’s largest plastic-free marathon scheduled for this June.
At Pine Hall School, we believe that education extends beyond academic excellence and plays a vital role in nurturing socially aware and environmentally responsible citizens. Meaningful initiatives such as these empower students to develop sensitivity towards pressing environmental concerns and motivate them to contribute positively towards society.

🐝 Spell Bee Competition 🐝
Pine Hall School organized an exciting and intellectually stimulating Spell Bee Competition for the students of Class V. The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Groups A, B, C, and D, who showcased their spelling skills, vocabulary, pronunciation, and quick thinking with great confidence.

Inter-House Quiz Competition 2026
Pine Hall School organized an exciting Inter-House Quiz Competition on 5th May 2026 to promote general awareness, confidence, teamwork, and healthy competition among students. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the four houses — Tilak, Gandhi, Nehru, and Tagore — creating an atmosphere of learning, excitement, and sportsmanship.

All the teams demonstrated remarkable preparation, presence of mind, teamwork, and confidence throughout the competition. The event reflected the students’ keen interest in expanding their knowledge beyond the classroom.

The students of Pine Hall were taken to Rashtrapati Niketan for an educational visit on 11th May, 2026. The visit was very informative and inspiring for the students,as they got an opportunity to interact with different professors and experts from various prestigious institutions.
The students got an opportunity to interact with Professor Dr. Harishankar Prasad along with professors from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, and Indian Institute of Petroleum. They shared valuable knowledge with the students on different scientific and environmental topics.
The experts explained about diesel, water conservation, rockets, and the importance of scientific innovations in daily life. They also provided information about the Survey of India maps and their uses in geographical studies and navigation.
Another interesting topic discussed was the use of manure and natural resources for creating useful products. The students learned how pine trees, found in hilly areas, can be used to make different products and how waste oil can be recycled and utilized as an alternative to diesel fuel. The professors also emphasized the importance of using CNG as an eco-friendly fuel to reduce pollution and protect the environment.
The visit was highly beneficial and helped students gain practical knowledge about science, environment, sustainable development, and modern technology. It was a wonderful learning experience for all the students and teachers.

Mother’s Day Celebration at Pine Hall School
Pine Hall School celebrated Mother’s Day on 9th May 2026 with great joy, gratitude, and enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the unconditional love, care, and sacrifices of mothers.
The celebration featured beautiful choir presentations, vibrant dance performances, an emotional skit, speeches, and interactive games that filled the atmosphere with warmth and happiness. The students expressed their love and appreciation for their mothers through their performances, making the occasion truly memorable and touching for everyone present.
The programme beautifully conveyed the values of love, gratitude, respect, and the irreplaceable role of mothers in shaping the lives of their children.

Special Assembly on Labour Day
On the occasion of Labour Day, celebrated on May 1st, our school organized a special assembly to honour the dedication, hard work, and invaluable contributions of workers who help build a strong and progressive society.
The assembly featured thoughtful speeches by students highlighting the dignity of labour, the importance of perseverance, and the vital role workers play in nation-building. A short documentary showcasing different professions and the contributions of workers was also screened to inspire students and create awareness.
As a token of gratitude, students presented handmade cards to the supporting staff, expressing their appreciation and respect. The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the Student Council President.
The assembly successfully instilled values of gratitude, respect, and empathy among students, reminding everyone that every profession deserves dignity and appreciation.
