Our talented students participated in a drawing competition on the theme Protect Our Planet Through vibrant colors and thoughtful artwork, they beautifully expressed the importance of trees, clean water, wildlife, and a pollution-free Earth.

The activity helped young minds understand their responsibility towards Mother Nature and inspired them to become future guardians of our environment.

Mother’s Day Celebration at SGRR Public School, Bombay Bagh, Dehradun

Mother’s Day was celebrated with great love and enthusiasm at SGRR Public School, Bombay Bagh, Dehradun on. The school campus was filled with warmth and emotion as students participated in the special event dedicated to mothers.

To express their love and gratitude, students made beautiful drawings and colourful greeting cards for their mothers. The tiny tots of Pre-Primary and Primary classes showcased their creativity through hand-made cards decorated with flowers, hearts, and heartfelt messages. Middle school students put their thoughts on paper through thoughtful drawings depicting the selfless love and care of a mother.

A special assembly was also conducted where students presented poems, songs, and short speeches highlighting the importance of a mother in everyone’s life. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the students and emphasized the role of a mother as the first teacher and guide in a child’s life.

The celebration concluded with smiles and joy as students took their handmade cards and drawings home to gift their mothers. It was truly a heart-touching day that strengthened the bond between children and their mothers.

Creative Tribute to Mother Earth: Rangoli and Painting Contest Winners from SGRR Public School Bombay Bagh Dehradun

Sanskar Bharti Mahanagar Ikai, Dehradun, in collaboration with Harbans Kapoor Memorial Trust, organised Rangoli and Painting competitions at Shri Guru Ram Rai Public School, Patel Nagar, Dehradun on 22 April 2026, Wednesday, to mark Prithvi Diwas "Bhoo-Alankaran Diwas". The theme for both competitions was "Prithvi Bachao" and participation was open to students from Classes 8 to 12.

From our school, Shivani Kumari (XII A) and Maria (X A) represented in the Rangoli Competition. The Painting Competition saw participation from Prajanya Jakhmola (XII C), Tripti Goyal (XII B),Abhishek Ram (XII B), Kalpana Bisht (XII A), and Wafiyah Ramzi (IX A).

Our students brought laurels to the school Shivani Kumari secured 1st position in the Rangoli Competition and Wafiyah Ramzi secured 2nd position in the Painting Competition. All winners were awarded prizes by Sanskar Bharti, and every participant received a certificate.

The event successfully instilled awareness about environmental conservation among students and provided them a creative platform to express their love for Mother Earth through art.

🌍 Earth Day at SGRR Public School, Bombay Bagh, Dehradun was celebrated with creativity, awareness, and a strong spirit of action on April 22, 2026. The entire campus echoed with the message that protecting our planet is not a one-day duty, but a lifelong responsibility.

The celebration turned colourful as students from senior classes made beautiful earth-themed rangolis in the school courtyard using natural colours, flower petals, and eco-friendly materials. The rangolis became the center of attraction, reminding everyone that beauty and sustainability can go hand in hand.

The message went deeper when students of the middle wing presented a skit on Earth Day. With heartfelt dialogues and expressive performances, they portrayed the harmful effects of deforestation, pollution, and plastic waste. The act left the audience thinking about daily habits and how small changes can help heal Mother Earth.

Our youngest environmentalists from the primary wing expressed their love for the planet through drawings. Their sheets were filled with visions of clean rivers, green forests, chirping birds, and a plastic-free Earth. The vibrant artwork displayed in the corridors turned the school into a gallery of hope, showing how children see the world they wish to inherit.

A plantation drive was also held on the school grounds. Students, teachers, and staff joined hands to plant saplings. From art to action, students of SGRR Public School, Bombay Bagh promised to protect our planet not just today, but every day.

The day ended with a collective oath and the reminder that there is no Planet B. At SGRR Public School, Bombay Bagh, Dehradun, we are shaping minds, building character, and raising responsible citizens who care for the Earth.
