Report on Cleanliness Drive / Shramdaan Activity

A cleanliness drive and Shramdaan activity was successfully organized dated 20th May 27 in collaboration with Northern Railway and Nithyanand Swami Janseva Samiti, in which Himalayan Institute of Design and Technology actively participated with great enthusiasm and dedication.

The students of Himalayan Institute of Design and Technology enthusiastically took part in the cleanliness campaign and contributed wholeheartedly towards maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in and around the railway premises. During the drive, railway officials interacted with the students and spread awareness regarding the importance of cleanliness, sanitation, and maintaining hygienic surroundings, especially in public places such as railway stations and railway tracks.

The officials also educated the students about child safety and informed them about the importance of the Child Helpline Number 1039 and Railway Child Helpline 139, explaining how these helplines can help children in need and ensure their safety and protection during travel.

The activity was conducted in the esteemed presence of Ms. Nitika Sharma, Mr. Vinayak Sharma President of Nithyanand Swami Janseva Samiti, , who encouraged the students to actively contribute towards social welfare and cleanliness initiatives.

The Principal of Himalayan Institute of Design and Technology, Mrs. Anupama Uniyal, was also present during the drive. The activity was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Namita Mamgain, Director of the institute, whose continuous motivation inspires students to participate in socially responsible activities.

The cleanliness drive proved to be highly informative, inspiring, and successful. Students not only contributed towards a cleaner environment but also gained valuable awareness regarding hygiene, public responsibility, and child safety. The event reflected the institute’s commitment towards community service, social awareness, and nation-building activities. 🌟🎉👏💚🌈🏆🎈
