Let's learn how to read words through phonics.

*Importance of Teaching Phonics*

Teaching phonics sounds is crucial because it lays the foundation for reading and spelling skills. Understanding how letters represent sounds helps children decode words, leading to improved reading fluency and comprehension. It also enhances spelling abilities, as phonics provides rules and patterns for spelling words correctly. Additionally, phonics instruction promotes phonemic awareness, which is essential for effective language development and literacy acquisition. Overall, phonics empowers learners with the tools they need to become confident and proficient readers and writers.

*If you can speak, you can influence. If you can influence, you can change lives!*

Elocution is one of the key factors in learning about the art of communication.

> It strengthens languages skill and builds confidence.

>Understanding the importance of education in the personality development of a child, Kites Play and Remedial School organised an ' *Inter Class English Elocution Competition* ' for the students of Primary wing today.
A healthy competitive spirit enlightened the faces of the students, where focus on aspects like intonation of voice quality, speech content and the delivery standards amazed the judges and the audience.

The event came to an end by inspiring speech by the Principal Mrs. Kanika Vizan. She congratulated all the students for participating and showing utmost zeal and enthusiasm at this tender age as well thanking teachers and support staff for their selfless efforts.

Kites-A PRE and Remedial School
