" Father is someone we all look upto ,
No matter how tall we grow "

Father's Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June.
This year Father's day is celebrated on 18th June 2023.

Fathers are the most ordinary men turned by love into heroes , adventures, story tellers and singers of the song. A father is a person who has qualities of gentleness, patience and strength within them.
Their contributions and sacrifices are seldom celebrated.
Everything they do is seen as a part of their duty and hence the due appreciation is not conveyed to them.

On this day, we at GRD wish to remind you all to introspect the things your father has done for you .
We also encourage you to take an initiative and have an interactive chit chat with your father and express immense gratitude for everything they have done for you.

In an effort to draw attention to the global scope of child employment and the actions and efforts required to end it, the International employment Organisation (ILO) established the World Day Against Child Labour in 2002. Governments, employers' and workers' organisations, civil society, and millions of individuals come together each year on June 12 for the World Day to raise awareness of the suffering of child labourers and what can be done to aid them.

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) organises a number of events that highlight the significance of eradicating child labour on this day each year. The ILO has organised "Week of Action against Child Labour" to bring more attention to this issue on World Day Against Child .

Our entire globe is sustained by the ocean. It affects a variety of things, including the food we consume, the livelihoods of millions of people, and the air we breathe. Nevertheless, human actions like overfishing and global warming pose a threat to the health of our ocean. World Ocean Day is a global holiday that occurs every year on June 8.

At the Earth Summit - UN Conference on Environment and Development in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 1992, the International Centre for Ocean Development and the Ocean Institute of Canada first put up the idea.

Today is all about preserving today. Let's unite today to raise awareness of the seas and work to conserve them.

Celebrate Best Friends Day on June 8 by remembering your closest and dearest buddy. Best friends frequently have strong bonds that can tolerate time apart, bad weather, and silence. Best friends make bad times bearable, enjoyable times memorable, and memorable moments priceless, whether we've known them all our lives or just recently met them.

The United States Congress decided to dedicate a day each year to honour close friends in 1935. They choose June 8, which is typically a warm day nationwide, ideal for outdoor activities.

Since then, the custom has spread to numerous other nations. To honour their chosen family, some people even host festivals.

This Best Friends day let us cherish the bond that we have with our friends no matter the distance.
