Successfully concluded our 5-Day Faculty Development Programme on “Generative AI in Higher Education: Transforming Teaching, Research, Assessment, and Academic Excellence” at Jigyasa University.

From 3rd to 7th August 2026, over 50 faculty members actively participated in this intensive learning journey, exploring the transformative potential of Generative AI in higher education. The programme focused on practical applications, including AI-assisted lesson planning, teaching content creation, research support, assessment design, and enhancing overall academic excellence.

The enthusiasm and commitment demonstrated by our faculty reaffirm Jigyasa University’s vision of fostering innovation and preparing educators for the future of higher education.

Jigyasa University is delighted to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Young Indians (Yi) Dehradun, an initiative of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII).
This partnership marks a significant step towards empowering our students with enhanced opportunities in leadership development, entrepreneurship, innovation, industry engagement, social responsibility, and skill enhancement. Through this collaboration, both organizations will work together to organize workshops, expert talks, innovation challenges, mentorship programs, community initiatives, and experiential learning opportunities that prepare students to become responsible leaders and changemakers.

Jigyasa University, in Collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild, Commences Five-Day Faculty Development Program on Generative AI for Higher Education

Jigyasa University, in collaboration with IBM SkillsBuild, successfully commenced a five-day Faculty Development Program on “Generative AI for Higher Education: Transforming Teaching, Research, Assessment and Academic Excellence.”

The inaugural session was graced by Prof. (Dr.) Irfan Khan, President, Jigyasa University, who emphasized the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence in shaping the future of higher education. Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kautish, Pro Vice-Chancellor, highlighted the significance of Generative AI in enhancing teaching, research, assessment, and academic excellence.

The technical sessions were led by Mr. Aman Srivastava, IBM SkillsBuild Trainer, who introduced participants to Generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and their practical applications in education and research.

The programme was attended by Prof. (Dr.) Manish Sharma, Dean Research & Director, IQAC, Dr. Jasandeep Singh, Registrar, along with the Deans, Heads of Departments, and faculty members from across the University, reflecting Jigyasa University’s commitment to innovation, continuous learning, and academic excellence.
