Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in the Pre-Primary Section of Doon Global School. The day began with a special assembly conducted by the UKG class, setting a meaningful tone for the celebration.

The assembly commenced with the school song, followed by the Gayatri Mantra. Students confidently recited poems on Earth Day in both English and Hindi, spreading awareness about the importance of protecting our planet. The “Thought of the Day” further highlighted the need to care for Mother Earth.

A vibrant dance performance by the UKG students on the song *“Na Kaato Mujhe Bada Dukhta Hai”* beautifully conveyed the message of saving trees and nature. The young learners also participated in engaging activities such as handprint art on the theme of Earth Day and mind-stimulating activities that promoted environmental awareness.

The celebration also encouraged bonding among students as they actively participated and shared the spirit of togetherness with their friends.

Overall, the Earth Day celebration was a great success and effectively instilled a sense of responsibility and love for the environment among the young learners.
