2nd April is celebrated as “World Autism Awareness Day”. We celebrate and educate one another about the condition and how we can create an inclusive society.

Mrs. Ambika Barthwal Dhasmana is the first-ever resource person to be present physically for our “Teacher’s professional development Programme” since 2021.
Her specialisation and varsity of knowledge on the topic “Autism Spectrum Disorder” surely helped our Teachers to learn and participate fully throughout the session.

Activity for the day. Develops social skills such as sharing and turn-taking. Develops physical skills like hand-eye coordination, balance and mobility. Uses rhythm and music. Muscles are strengthened as the core and arms are put to work in a gentle but effective way.

As the COVID restrictions has significantly decreased Anant Prakash Mehra(Anant Mehra), District Rehabilitation Officer along with Nirupma Sood, Joint Director were finally able to visit our school today afternoon.
We were pleased to give them a short tour of our classes, demonstrating various activities that take place everyday as a part of our school curriculum.
“We are also happy to receive such positive feedbacks and would inculcate valuable inputs given by them.
Surely, looking forward to work and collaborate towards building an effective society for Children with Special Needs”.
