This Library has a present inventory of more than 45000 Books on various subjects and topics including some old and rare scriptures like the Vedas, Puranas & Upnishads. The Reading Room contributes to almost all English, Hindi & Vernacular News Papers and several magazines and periodicals of topical interest. There is great need and demand amongst the local youth and citizens for upgrading its status into a modern and smart library with Internet facilities and computerization, cataloguing and digitization of its outdated systems. The entire building needs to be refurbished and the Multi-purpose Hall needs to be upgraded, equipped and furnished with the latest facilities.
