🇮🇳 Independence Day Celebration 2026 🇮🇳

Anand International School celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India with immense pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic fervour.

The celebration commenced with the Flag Hoisting by Rector ma'am and Principal maam followed by inspiring addresses and a captivating series of cultural presentations. The stage came alive with the Opening Song, Group Dance, Group Recitation, Dance Drama, Group Song, Yoga Dance, and Theme Dance, showcasing the remarkable talent, creativity, and confidence of our students.

Each performance beautifully echoed the values of patriotism, unity, freedom, and love for our motherland, making the celebration truly memorable. The programme culminated with the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with a deep sense of pride and gratitude for our nation.

May the spirit of freedom inspire our young minds to become responsible, compassionate, and proud citizens of India.

🌟 Investiture Ceremony 2026 – Anand International School 🌟

Anand International School successfully conducted its Investiture Ceremony with great enthusiasm, pride and dignity. The ceremony marked the formal entrustment of responsibilities to our young student leaders.

The gathering was graced by inspiring speeches from our Secretary Ma’am, Rector Ma’am, Principal Ma’am and Coordinator Ma’am, who motivated the students to lead with discipline, dedication, integrity and responsibility.

The House In-charges, Head Boy, Head Girl, Captains and Vice-Captains of all four Houses, along with ten School Council Members, took the solemn oath before the dignitaries and pledged to discharge their responsibilities sincerely and uphold the values of the school.

Following the Investiture Ceremony, the Prize Distribution Ceremony was held. Students were felicitated with prizes and certificates for their achievements in House-wise Extempore, Quiz and Essay Writing Competitions.

It was a memorable and inspiring day that celebrated leadership, talent, responsibility and excellence. Heartiest congratulations to all the student leaders and prize winners! 👏🏆

Today, 11th August 2026, the talented students of Anand International School, Debra, Kabilpur proudly participated in the Inter-School Patriotic Group Song Competition 2026 organised by Don Bosco School, Kharagpur.

🌸 PA-1 Parent-Teacher Meeting Successfully Held at Anand International School 🌸

Today, Anand International School successfully conducted its first Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) of the academic session 2026–27.

Despite the continuous rainfall, an encouraging number of parents attended the PTM, met with the class teachers, discussed their wards’ academic progress, and reviewed their PA-1 answer scripts. Their active participation and cooperation made the day truly meaningful.

A separate meeting was also arranged for the parents of slow writer students with the school management as part of our regular interaction and communication process.

Overall, the day served as an important Feedback Day for parents, providing a valuable platform for meaningful dialogue between parents, teachers, and the school management.

🙏 We sincerely appreciate the parents for their presence, cooperation, and continued support in the holistic development of our students.

🌸 Remembering Rabindranath Tagore at Anand International School 🌸

Anand International School, Debra, Kabilpur, Paschim Medinipur, observed the Death Anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore with deep respect and reverence.

The programme featured an Essay Writing Competition in Bengali, Hindi and English, exploring various aspects of Tagore’s life, works, philosophy and enduring legacy. This was followed by a beautiful cultural programme celebrating his timeless contributions to literature, art, music and education.

Students delivered meaningful speeches, reflecting on the life, philosophy and ideals of Gurudev. The occasion was further enriched by inspiring words from our teachers and Secretary Madam, while Rector Madam shared her thoughts and paid heartfelt tribute to the great poet and visionary.

The programme concluded with a sincere Vote of Thanks delivered by the Coordinator Ma’am.

✨ The celebration was a heartfelt tribute to the immortal legacy of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore, whose words, thoughts and ideals continue to inspire generations across the world.

📚✨ P. N. Panicker Reading Month Celebration ✨📚

Anand International School, Kabilpur, Debra, enthusiastically observed P. N. Panicker Reading Month throughout July to honour the father of India's library movement and to promote the habit of reading among students.

The celebration included a variety of engaging activities, such as the Reading Pledge, D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) sessions, storytelling, poetry recitation, bookmark making, book cover designing, and author quizzes. Through these activities, students explored the wonderful world of books, enhanced their creativity, and developed a deeper appreciation for literature.

The programme encouraged students and teachers alike to embrace reading as a lifelong habit, nurturing imagination, knowledge, and critical thinking.

🌸 Premchand Jayanti Celebration 🌸

Anand International School, Kabilpur, celebrated Premchand Jayanti with great enthusiasm and reverence, paying tribute to one of India's greatest literary figures, Munshi Premchand.

The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the offering of floral tributes by our respected Principal Ma'am, Rector Ma'am, and teachers. The event was further enriched by an inspiring speech delivered by our respected Rector Ma'am, highlighting the life, philosophy, and timeless contributions of Munshi Premchand to Indian literature.

The celebration featured a series of wonderful performances by our students, including speeches on Premchand's life and achievements, poem recitations, a thought-provoking drama, an impressive monologue, and a melodious group song. Through these performances, the students beautifully portrayed the values of humanity, compassion, social justice, and moral courage that were so deeply reflected in Premchand's writings.
