Davanagere Public School proudly celebrated the 80th Independence Day with great patriotism and pride. The celebration began with a magnificent Road Rally led by our students carrying a 12-metre National Flag, spreading the spirit of unity and love for our nation along Maganahalli Road.
The rally was followed by Flag Hoisting in the public area, symbolizing our respect for the sacrifices of our freedom fighters. The grand celebration continued at Ayesha Marriage Hall, where we were privileged to welcome our esteemed Chief Guest, Respected Sri C. M. Mallikarjun Achar, Association & Trust Consultant, renowned social worker, founder of three old-age homes and one street children care centre, whose life is dedicated to humanity and selfless service. We were honoured by his inspiring presence.
Our students mesmerized the audience with vibrant cultural performances, patriotic dances, songs, and a delightful Freedom Fighters Costume Parade by our tiny tots, reminding everyone of India's glorious heritage.
A day filled with patriotism, unity, and unforgettable memories!

Student Council Election 2026–27

Davangere Public School

Davangere Public School successfully conducted the Student Council Election 2026–27 in a well-planned and systematic manner, giving students a first-hand experience of the democratic election process. The election was organized just like a real election, with voter identification, polling procedures, a Presiding Officer, Polling Officers, and disciplined voting, helping students understand the importance of democracy and responsible leadership.

The programme was presided over by the Secretary, Mr. Mohammed Jafar, and graced by the Chief Guest, Former Mayor Mr. K. Chaman Sab. In his inspiring address, he encouraged students to become leaders with patience, gratitude, integrity, and a spirit of service, emphasizing that these qualities are the foundation of true leadership.

The event concluded successfully with enthusiastic participation from students and staff, reflecting Davangere Public School's commitment to nurturing confident, responsible, and future-ready leaders.

"The art of healing begins with a heart full of compassion."
DPS proudly celebrated Doctors' Day with immense gratitude and joy. The celebration was made even more special by the presence of our esteemed guest doctors, who shared valuable insights about the vital role doctors play in building a healthier and stronger society.
Our adorable kindergarten children stole the show by confidently hosting the program and presenting delightful role plays and performances that reflected care, kindness, and respect for the medical profession. Their enthusiasm and innocence beautifully conveyed the importance of empathy, service, and gratitude.
A heartfelt thank you to our honoured guest doctors for inspiring our young minds and reminding us that every act of healing begins with compassion.

We were deeply honored to have the Reputed Red Cross Team of Davanagere as our Chief Guests—individuals from diverse professions who stand united in one noble mission: service to humanity ❤️
