Ubdtce Engineering College at Davangere in the year 1951 and was named after the donors Brahmappa Devendrappa Thavanappanavar College of Engineering as B.D.T.

University B.D.T College of Engineering, Davangere is located in the central Part of Karanataka. Started in the year1951,the college was named after the donors Brahmappa Devendrappa Tanvanappanavar (BDT), who donated rupees1.5 lakhsfor the Constraction of building. The then Maharaja of Mysore Sri Jayachamarajendra wodeyar Bahadur laid the foundation stone to the college building on 7th August 1951 and inaugurated the building on 24th Sepetember 1956.
